Role Overview

Fully responsible for the day-to-day performance of a ServAuto outlet — window tinting, car maintenance, tyres, and general repairs. This role combines operations, sales, and people management in one seat.

What you'll do

• Plan and oversee daily operations across all service bays — minimal customer wait time, smooth workflow
• Own outlet performance: daily sales, labour productivity, parts & tyre margin, overall profitability
• Ensure all jobs follow ServAuto SOPs for inspection, maintenance, and repair
• Track KPIs: cars/day, sales mix, rework / comeback rate, customer complaints, online ratings
• Drive cross-selling based on actual vehicle condition; manage online reputation (Google Maps, platforms)
• Lead foremen, technicians, apprentices; monthly rosters; manpower planning
• Enforce quality control and safety procedures (lifts, jacks, torque wrenches, chemicals, tyres)
• Manage inventory of tint, lubricants, filters, brake parts, tyres, batteries
• Implement HQ promotions and provide field feedback

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Automotive / Mechanical / Business or equivalent — strong workshop experience can substitute
• 3-5 years in automotive aftersales, tyre shop, or service workshop; at least 2 years in a supervisory / management role
• Strong understanding of passenger vehicle maintenance (service, tyres, tint, brakes, suspension, battery)
• Strong leadership and people management — disciplined, motivated team
• Customer-focused with good communication and complaint-handling
• Comfortable using POS, workshop management systems, basic computer
• English + Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage
• Valid driving licence; able to work weekends and public holidays as required

Role Overview

Install window tint film and related solar / PPF / security films on customer vehicles at ServAuto stores. Beginners welcome — full training provided; experienced tinters get rewarded for proven craft.

What you'll do

• Install various grades of window tint film (heat-rejection, IR, ceramic, security) per ServAuto SOPs
• Prepare and clean glass surfaces; cut films to fit; apply with precision and patience
• Conduct final quality check before vehicle handover (no bubbles, lifted edges, dust contamination)
• Maintain a clean workstation and properly maintained tools (cutters, heat guns, squeegees)
• Handle customer interaction professionally during dropoff and pickup
• Support related services (PPF, security film) as trained
• Follow workshop safety procedures (chemicals, blades, lifts, ventilation)

• Standard maintenance services: oil change, filter replacement, brake service, tyre fitting, battery, wiper, alignment support
• Pre-service vehicle inspections; document findings; recommend services per SOPs
• Use diagnostic tools (OBD scanners, multimeters, torque wrenches) for basic troubleshooting
• Final quality check (torque verification, fluid levels, safety items) before vehicle handover
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool inventory, hazardous waste handling
• Coordinate with foreman and customer service for service execution
• Follow workshop safety procedures (lifts, jacks, chemicals, eye/hand protection)
