Our origin

Built by operators who lived the problem.

Founded in 2024 by former Carsome operators, ServAuto exists to fix what every Malaysian car owner already knows.

Malaysia has 17 million registered vehicles and over 30,000 independent workshops. But nobody trusts the experience: prices vary wildly between shops, quality is unpredictable, parts authenticity is impossible to verify, and the service contract resets every time you walk into a new place.

We started ServAuto with a simple thesis — what if a workshop network ran like a SaaS company? Standardized SOPs. Transparent pricing. Certified parts sourced direct from manufacturers. Real-time digital workflows. One brand, one quality bar, one trust contract — across every store, every state, every customer.

Twelve months in, we've served 30,000+ Malaysian drivers, opened 9 stores with 6 more in pipeline, and onboarded 100+ partner workshops across all 11 states of Peninsular Malaysia. We're an official aftersales partner for Carsome, integrated with Touch 'n Go and MONEE for affordability, and backed by Malaysia's leading mobility VCs.

Phoy Yong Hao — leading our day-to-day in Malaysia.

A Malaysian operator with deep roots in the country's automotive and tech ecosystem. Phoy is the face our partner workshop owners meet first — and the one who makes ServAuto's promise real, store by store.

Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer

Phoy spent his career building operating muscle for Malaysia's most consumer-facing companies. Previously at Carsome — Southeast Asia's largest used-car platform — and earlier at AirAsia, where he learned what it takes to run nationwide operations across thousands of touchpoints.

At ServAuto, he leads business development, partner network expansion, and store operations. He works directly with workshop owners across Peninsular Malaysia — closing partnerships, onboarding new stores, and making sure the ServAuto experience holds the same standard whether you're in Klang Valley, Penang, or Johor Bahru.

August 2024

ServAuto founded

The founding team — alumni of Malaysia's automotive and tech ecosystem, including Carsome — incorporate ServAuto Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur with a thesis: rebuild the Malaysian car-care market with one operating system.

September 2024

First store opens — Carsome PJ Automall

Our first ServAuto-branded store opens at the Carsome PJ Automall, Petaling Jaya. The proving ground for our SOPs, pricing system, and supply chain.

March 2025

TikTok Shop & livestream commerce launched

ServAuto becomes one of Malaysia's first car-care brands to operate a daily TikTok Shop livestream business, opening a new high-velocity demand channel for tinting, oil changes, and accessories.

January 2026

30,000 Malaysian drivers served

In just 17 months, the network has serviced 30,000+ unique car owners across Peninsular Malaysia, with our verified store network now spanning 11 states.

February 2026

Vynn Capital leads RM24M / US$6M funding round

Round joined by Jelawang Capital (Malaysia's National Fund-of-Funds), Openspace Capital, SWC Global, Gobi Partners, and strategic angels. Capital deployed to scale our store network, deepen the supply chain, and accelerate platform technology.
